A poem about nothing and everything

by MisterScabbedWings   Sep 13, 2005

A dancing star in the distance
A dark ocean above our heads
A breeze running its fingers through your hair
I just want to be here

The grass stroking my skin
The water caressing your body
Embraced by the summer heat
Blown away by the winter cold

Speechless by incredibly beautiful sights
Hypnotized by heavenly sounds

Crazy comfort when we collide
Why wonder when we meet?

Clouds forming shapes no one sees
Unimaginable miracles created by others

Feeling safe under the blanket while hearing the thunder

One soft touch and everything disappears for a while

Life makes sense once again
