Temptation of lust over the weak

by joey   Sep 13, 2005

I know what I'm doing is wrong
But I can't tell you the reality
That everything you think of this is gone
The ending is not a lifetime of fidelity
But for you to learn how to make on

Seeing your body I cringe, this isn't right
But I'm battling a losing fight
Your eyes enchant me with a sweetness
Of innocence and beauty longing
The soft bliss and pleasure from love's kiss

Temptation wins over the meek
Your eyes can bring me to my knees
Bring out all in me that is weak
And I'll think of what it is I should do, flee,
But I'm not that strong, that just isn't me

So tonight as I go to sleep
I ask for a memory to keep
My chance with you
So I can hold it tight
Never letting out of my sights

Around you my pulse is irregular
My heart usually skips a beat
Eyes focus in on only one person,
Everything else doesn't matter and soon disappears,
Continuously capturing me in a world of desire and lust
With my heart dreaming of us

I'd love to get my chance
But I don't think you'd understand
That to me this is only lust
Just another one night stand
So I'm going with my instincts
No matter what you say, that you don't want me to go away
You'll have to trust, this can only be a game
No matter how hard you try,
Don't earn yourself a different name.
