Why Daddy

Daddy why do you always hit mommy?
When you hit somebody your suppose to say sorry

And why do you always yell at me, call me stupid
and make me frown?
I hate you daddy!!!! why dont you just leave town?

Everyday I need to provoke you so mommy wont feel any pain.
Bring it on daddy go ahead hit me
Your the one that's insane.

There's nothing I can do or say
So I will get on my knees and pray

"Dear Lord help my Daddy stop hurting my mommy.
Help him to realize what he has done.
I miss the way he used to call me son".
