Taylor (very sad)

This is a poem for my best friend, she lost her very good friend 5 days ago in a car crash
and now she is having a hard time going on without him

He told me everything would be okay
That all it was, was a little drive
He would be back in an hour, no less
But if that was the truth he would still be alive

The car coming must not have see him
Because if it had
There would of been no tears to cry
I never would have been so sad

The other guy got out without a scratch
But Taylor had a broken neck
If the guy would have slowed down a little
Maybe there wouldn't of been such a wreck

The doctors said Taylor would be fine
However he would never walk again
He was paralyzed from the neck down
And wasn't able to make a sound

I went to see him after he was doing better
He could finally speak but with no gain
I still was crying and could not stop
But he gave me a smile and said there is no more pain

He said we're still getting married even if he was sore
That was a joke between the2 of us
He told me everything would be over soon
And theres no need to cry anymore

But somehow i knew
That everything wouldn't be ok
I had a gut feeling that i could not shake
For he died the very next day

The doctors said that he would be fine
How could they not see this sign
There was a blood clot growing in his brain
It killed him so quick that there was no pain

Now i cant describe all the pain i am feeling
I just want him to be here, my heart is uncurled
But i know this is not possible
So now i am alone in this world
