What A Life We Have To Live

by Bill Turner   Sep 15, 2005

Van Morrison on the stereo
Your kiss upon my lips
Well now there you go
My hands upon your hips

Swaying softly with the beat
Our hearts becoming as one
Sweeping you off of your feet
Your eyes reflecting the setting sun

Holding you upon my lap
Kissing each other and holding tight
I feel like such a sap
Reading you this poem of love tonight

Your look of love and words of sweetness
Settle deep within my heart
Your touch, that gentle caress
Your words, we will never part

What a life we have to live
All our love for the world to see
Giving all we can give
The life we want, you and me

Welcome home my love
