Clouds

by BreatheNoMore   Sep 15, 2005

Omnipotent clouds gradually sinking lower
Lines swiftly interchanging
Imagination outlines each proportion
Until not a faceless cloud is left remaining

Flickering sparks of isolated light
Atmosphere manipulating mental states
What once was bright is cast in shadow
Liquid crystals emanate

Violently diffusing across the transparent shield
That separates me from all else
Lifting of a dream barrier
Practicality rebels

Slits in stitching open to reveal their essence
Stepping outside my limited world
Fierce gusts of wind overwhelm my senses
Melancholy anonymity devours all
