Alive Again

Reflections of dizzy sickness and merry-go-rounds
She longs to feel alive again
concreted doubts that any man has to return
all that has been taken

Now the rail of light is coming
And she cannot ease her mind away from flirting
With thoughts of jumping just to watch herself fall
Free of empathy for the next life that must
Bear it all
Anything to bring her to life again
out of the hereditary loneliness she endures
now that the films of a shallow heart are shaven

Soft dreams releasing by way of advection
That breeds a glow of love in such perfection
She takes the beautiful with the dark
But both sides will always tear her apart
