Hills

by BreatheNoMore   Sep 27, 2005

One day will I come home to
Eternal devotion tenderly seeping through
The previously vacant eyes of a shattered girl
Or the love of a face I never knew

Such questions I only romance
Before such heights escalate to blood and tears
Mineralizing my prince or princess
Assembling this confusion until the product is perfectly clear

Unexpecting of my redeemer to land softly upon the hills
Where I'd lay waiting for my reverie of love
Where yellow matted leaves are scattered
In constellations adjoining to the stars above

Where dwells my object of untainted adoration?
Obscured by the tangled roots of time-find me now as I still wait
Lift me to the treetops to watch the sky
Before the luminaries of optimism utterly fade away
