I Hurt Myself Again Last Night

I hurt myself again,
It wasn't very deep,
It's just the tide of emotion,
On the inside I couldn't keep.

As soon as I try to get better,
The world come's caving in,
Everything turn's so black,
And again I release my sin.

I tried so hard to keep alive,
And not fall out of grace,
But its harder than I thought,
To try to find my place.

The crimson blood I released,
Helped me not to cry,
So now I can continue living,
In this shameful lie.

I hurt myself again last night,
And I don't want to make you cry,
So I'll just say I slipped and fell,
To escape inside this lie...
