A rose bleeds

by sarah   Sep 19, 2005

A rose can drip blood of an innocent girl,
But still may never cover the detailed swirl.
You can almost kiss the shot red frantic heart,
But may never see the heartbeat again start.
Love may never curl in its soft petals now,
But the frightful shrieking screams will take a vow.
The rose only bleeds when it has been stomped on,
And when the rose bleeds it turns a color of fawn

I thought your poem lacked some emotion,it fell short with the descriptive language you need to work on that a little more other than that it was fine.
