Just A Reflection

by Anthony   Sep 19, 2005

The sun has set, The sun has gone down.

The greenest leaves turn the darkest brown.

The world has slept and will not wake.

Until it is time to shatter and brake.

And I alone, am standing now.

Everyone is gone, and I don't know how.

Time just seems to be so still,

Only seconds, minutes, hours to kill.

Walking alone with no end in sight;

The world around me is endless night.

When I look around, I finally see;

The world is a reflection of the soul inside me!

Creatures, bazaar, are all around.

Humanity, Normality, are nowhere to be found.

    Stop writing depressing poems that make me look bad! My favourite lines are:

    "The sun has set, The sun has gone down.

    The greenest leaves turn the darkest brown."

    I can actually imagine the whole leaf turning from green to brown with the music from "The Ring" playing in the background. Bleeping freakiy!
