A Hopeful Image

by LadyPearl   Sep 20, 2005

Tender wisps of morning fog
seeping past old fallen logs
swimming towards lakes of blue
surrounded by strange cheerful hues

Flowers sprout as rain pour forward
Songs of purity flow from summer birds
Fish renewed and dance to new fun
splashing till the rise of sun

Dragonfly soar in grace
Their wings like a rainbow lace
Past the leaves full of dreams
shining through delightful beams

*not my best

A little shaky flow wise in a few spots, but the true power of it lies in the imagery, which is amazingly well done.
