Saying goodbye to you
is the hardest thing i have to do

we've been through more than can fit in a book
and i cant believe this will be our last look

I'll never forget your voice
for it is what reassured me on every choice

seeing your face everyday comforted my feeling of ever being alone
yet now all i have is picturing your face when we talk on the phone

soon I'll recover
but for now i just want you to stay here forever

you cant leave me and all our memories
in my mind i know leaving wasn't your plan and you could stay if you could reason

i understand but i don't want to admit it
for when i do it will become a reality and it will hurt when it finally hits

but i know
saying goodbye to you
