Reasons Why I love You

As the stars shine bright above,
I pray to God for your love,
But suddenly think of that's so stupid,
Because I know our dear old cupid,
Shot arrows at both our hearts,
And I really wish we will never have to part,
But I know what we've had,
Our time shared,
To nothing else can it ever be compared,
The love that we both give and receive, though no other can quite perceive,
The sudden gleam the glow you hold,
My young tender heart form which you've molded,
A beautiful angel with starry eyes,
The type that always seems to try,
Fiercely independent stubborn and bold,
Now all this angel wants is you to hold,
Believing with all her mind she is a mistake,
She's already had pretty much all she can take,
You've put love and meaning back into her life,
And stopped her from getting into all kinds of strife,
This poem I know could go on forever,
Because reasons why I love you could run out never.
