Save It

by Stephie   Feb 13, 2007

Save the kiss it won't make it go away.
I've done wrong by you and yet I can not say.
To tell you the truth that would destroy our little perfect world.
It would shatter like a window through which a stone's been hurled.
I don't know if it's worth the pain of putting shattered pieces back together.
After the lies I've said and made you believe.
I can't help cry at how you I've decieved.
But leaving you I can't do, I just don't know how.
You've my cover, my small childs cover blanket, my saftey.
Perhaps we rushed and have been too hasty.
But still I can not leave you in the cold.
Because on my heart you'll forever have a hold.
By your side I am happy it's where I want to be.
But here there is something missing its hard can't you see?
I don't know what to look for or where it lies.
But it's somewhere in the shadows from me it hides.
