Upon shadows I have Lived

Always there that cloud above
never letting my heart to love
shutting the door to every way
leading my sad soul astray

Upon the shadows I have dreamed
Dreaming of joy on a moonlight beam
I feel the ice run through my veins
revealing all my hidden pains

Soul deluded and destroyed
hope is lost and stolen joy
just a shadow in the night
contantly stuck in an endless fight

The moon's shadow calls my name
covers me in tears of shame
falling endless are my tears
opening up to dark new fears

Shadows swirl in my crimson eye
my heart pours as I cry
my soul is dead yet I feel
This constant pain will never heal
