Our escape from this world

We ran through valleys
Mountains far and wide
We laughed in the fields
As we reached for the sky

We danced in the rain
As it came and poured down
We kissed under trees
When no one was around

We lay on the soft sand
As we gazed up at the stars
We feel silently asleep
Warm in each other's arms

both young and in love
With so much faith and hope
We escaped the real world
Because neither could cope

We ran so fast
We ran so far
Took up are belongings
And got into the car

We didn't look back once
Just smiled and kissed
We forgot about all are problems
Forgetting about all that we'd miss

The breeze against our skin
The sunlight in our eyes
We had no limits at all
We where heading for the sky

So we drove off into the sunset
Hands in hand
And together we left
The world that coud never understand

And for once, we actually did live happily ever after
