Friends

Why do friends change?
Why can't we always stay the same?
She goes off and does her own thing,
While we're left feeling like a summer fling.

She promises that no matter what
Nothing will change
She's not like them,
"We'll always be friends"she promises

But then one day the story changes
She's got new friends
They don't like you
So thats the end

But you don't want to give up
She'll come back
She's not like them
She can't do that

But she can and she does
She tells you to back off
Because she's "just having fun"

But you know its not right
Fun or no fun you aren't giving up
Not without a fight.
