Distant love

I met you once upon a time
in a moment of sheer luck
from that time on you were my only
I couldn't help it; I'm stuck
it feels so perfect when your around
like it will all be alright
but I hardly get to see you
sometimes not for many days and nights
this makes me lonely
and somewhat weak
I don't know what to do
or if Ill see you next week
you've got me jumping tracks
and all I feel is if I get to see you
once again; just for a moment
Ill be happy; and hope you will too
I don't know why
I feel the way I do
but its better to love
than not to
and even though it often hurts
to be so alone
I know that I am thankful
because as long as you are
I wont truly be alone.
