What happened to us?
Where did we go?
Why don't we talk much anymore?

I remember when we were first friends.
I was so shy, you seemed to be too.
Then, all those late night talks, that summer.
They changed us.
I started to think of you as more, than just my really close guy friend.
But, you didn't seem to feel the same.

Now, a new school year has began.
We're older, in high school.
I barely see you anymore.

I started to say 'I love you.'
But, I never finish it.
You still always seem to know.
You ask me, "Why don't you just say it?"
I reply, "Because I know you don't feel the same."
