to be there for me,
to listen and understand,
like you always used to do.

To sit and talk,
till the sun came up,
Just being there for each other,
and holding hands while we walk.

Knowing that you love me,
Just by your smile,
The way your eyes look at me,
I can tell its me you need.

Cuddling up to each other,
Trying to get warm,
While the snow gently fell,
When there was no one else you'd prefer.

I need you more than ever,
To know someone loves me,
To know that someone needs me,
And to know u'd leave me never.

Laughing until we cry,
Smiling till it hurt,
I want those days back,
And wish you'd never said bye.

I want to know someone is there,
Just to comfort me,
to help me get through the day,
or just to know someone cares.

I don't have you to help me get through,
And what's the most painful is,
knowing that you don't want or need me,
Like i want and need you.
