Northern Wilderness

Raging rivers, poplar trees majestic pines that cut the breeze.
Eagles soar wile deer run far over this land where the wildest are.
In deepest dark where panthers wait,
In the tallest trees when it's dark and late.

in these forests deep and dark with rain,
Are mysteries that you can't explain.
Where the trees stretch big and high,
And songbirds stretch their wings to fly.
On quiet waters dark as night,
Or sparkling ponds of Crystal light.

As lightning bug float on the breeze,
The dark-stained forest is at ease.
But as the sun sinks behind the earth,
The creatures of the night take birth.
The Big bright moon takes its place, shining down with it's slivery grace,
That embarces the forest in a frosty glow.
A mighty hunter flies to and fro.

the crickets sing a sad slow song,
And coyotes howl loud and long.
a soft breeze blow through the trees, And treats the leaves as tambourines.
The night's symphony plays on and on,
And suddenly the music is gone-
The whole world seems to be at peace,
But still the forest never sleeps.
