Keys and Clay

by Stormy   Nov 17, 2005

Music and song
That starts from a key.
That unlocks wordless secrets,
And sets trapped souls free.
And the notes are the notes
To our heart and our feet.
To let them move together
And keep the beat.
And set the beat in our heart
So when we cannot hear,
the hammers building their songs
of either joyfulness or fear.

So i sit and i sit today
With my piano i once did play.
And i created my songs with coulours and clay.
Then decorated them with songbirds wings,
So they could fly and meet far-off kings.
And hum them the notes
As a simple gift
From a golden-haired girl
That sings with the sea.
And her coal-black piano
That fills her heart with glee
