Your Smile

Life has given me troubles
of which I cannot cope
but as I see your face
Your smile gave me a hope

A hope that kept me longing
Longing for your warm embrace
Embrace that only you can give
Like that smile upon your face

Although my computer's busted
The words I cannot type
I grabbed a pen and paper
For this poem I want to write

(Sigh) I failed in math again
Oh man! I'm in trouble deep
But can I keep your smile
In my mind and heart so deep?

I'm running out of words to say
or words to write upon this page
But I hope someday you and me,
Together we will be engage
