Not My friend Anymore

by Marc   Jun 18, 2005

Thou art indeed not thy friend,
For thy words wear a mask.
Thy star of light has banished.
How piteous thy scene was!

Don't judge the book by it's cover.
What beauty does thee present?
But As I look through your pages,
Thou wilt provoke thee to lament.

Lament, I must!
For thy truth is hidden.
Covered by your lies
Are the truth that left unspoken.

Ineffable words
may not have sprung from thy mouth
But thy secrets aroma
Will freeze thee like cold waters of the south...
