I thought i could let go,
i tried so hard.
But something brought me down,
it threw me off gaurd.

I was happier then ever,
you were the best.
You decided you didn't love me,
so you put our relationship to rest.

You told me you were sorry,
i couldn't believe a word you said.
Memories ran quickly,
like a movie in my head.

I still have those notes,
that you passed me in the hall.
They said i love you forever,
no matter what through it all.

We used to fight the odds,
but it guess i wasn't enough.
You broke my heart to prove,
that like your friends your tough.

You were my weakness,
you had me falling hard.
Now you've left me here,
and my heart is forever scarred.

It's like a never ending battle,
and i just can't see to win.
Why did i let this end,
before i let it begin?
