Steve this was so very sad that it did indeed bring a tear to my eye . Losing a pet is like losing a friend . Always there to listen never uttering a word .
To sit and stroke their hair is comfort enough to our soul .

Awww its sooo sad. i wanted to cry. lol.
i dunno what i would do if my dog died. probably write a poem. but really im truly sorry!

Honestly I never cry when I read poems about pets but this one hit home for me...brought back some sad, painful memories.
