The Corner

There is a corner where I like to hide,
Its so peaceful,
so tranquil
A place where my thoughts and feelings can thrive on the silence.

Nobody can find me when I go there,
in truth, nobody tries.
Maybe they don\'t care,
But I never despair,
Because I enjoy the desolation,
the feeling of tears falling down my cheeks,
and I like the feel of those icy, but soft, soft wings,
that hug me gently,
And carry me away,
carefuly into a world a world of far-away.

I like the music,
even though it chills me to my very soul,
I like the feeling,
I like the darkness, the sudden light,
The monster\'s cold, sudden bite.
I like the feeling of being alone,
Away from everyone who won\'t look for me anyway,
they don\'t care if I hide,
They don\'t play this \"game\", they say,
Wait til they need me and I\'m not there,
Ive just floated away.

I like the feeling,
the way the winged monster tells me what it would feel like, to have my own blood trickling over my hands,

But I don\'t go there any more.
No, not any more.
Because Ive been having more and more trouble getting back,
And Im not sure that what the monster says is true,
Thats why Im staying here,
where Im safe,
And if I feel that Im in need of that emptiness again, then I remember the happiness,
And I think,
One day, Ill be feeling that warmth,
And Ill know that love,
and I wont need that dark, empty corner,
Because Ill have help from above
