For You

by Lori Sulkowski   Oct 1, 2005

For you, I sing.
For you, I bleed.
For you, I would cross a dozen seas,
Just to be with you.

For you, I dream.
For you, my heart rings.
For you, I would pull strings,
Just to be with you.

For you I would do anything just to be close to you.
So I wonder what you would do for me.

Would you stop and think
About what you're missing in your heart
When it skips a beat?

Would you play owe song
Till I came to your call?
Or would you stay and never leave my side?

For you, my love will last.
For you my heat beats fast.
For you, I live.
But if you leave me now, my heart will bend.
