Macabre

by Daniel Solomon   Oct 2, 2005

Your little hands violently shake.
For my benefit rip off my second face!
Expose me to your asphyxiating air.
But don't look into my cold eyes as they stare!
Just let me put you in a big black box.
So I can cover you with piles of dirt and rocks!
Your screams are stifled now.
How I hurt you don't ask me how!
Your milky skin tears like a seam.
I can't stop now I'm just beginning!
Let me take a breath inside.
You will stay and I will hide!
Don't you think this hurts me too?
Watching your skin turn black and blue!
Take a second and realize.
You are not my gifted prize!
I hate it when your blood coagulates all over my hands.
And the voices in my head begin their somber chant!
Take your fill of what you see.
Take it all but nothing's free!
Why are your eyes fixated on me?
If I remove them will you no longer be able to dream?
So cold now, you I can no longer touch.
Your fire burned out slowly like a falling star from above.
If you think I'm done right now.
Watch the blender as the blade goes around.
You hands now know it's impolite to point!
You can't point at me when I chop off all of your joints!
Carefully, I stitch you up with every seam.
You look much better than you did in the beginning.
Just give me time and I'll almost be through.
After this, I'm done with you!
The terrible smell of rotting flesh!
You must leave now I can't stand this stench!
After the burial, I feel nothing more, but something less.
Clawing at my face and screaming. I must be possessed!
Mopping and scrubbing the blood off the floor.
My face is numb and I can't stand it anymore!
My pulse is racing and my heart is beating fast!
It feels like its going to explode and my ears I try to clasp!
The sound of my beating heart is driving me mad!
I can't take it! The pain is so bad!
Tossing and turning, I can't sleep at night!
This is bothering me so much I often ask myself why!
I didn't do it! I didn't do it! This is my morbid tale!
Just let my demons drag me down to a burning hell!
