As We Transpire

by Daniel Solomon   Nov 17, 2005

The sickness is an evil agent.
It grabs you despite your wealth.
It plagues the things that you have created.
It grows within those that have good health.
A suffocating grip closes tightly around the mind.
A lack of oxygen causes hallucinations.
These images you see, are you not blind?
Slipping deeper into the darkness of imagination.
The ghosts in your mind are very real.
Blood shot eyes occur from deprivation of sleep.
These assassins are nothing but cerebral.
Inner demons laugh as they dig deep.
Happiness inside, it constantly rots.
The confusion continues to grow tense.
We bring out the hate you always fought.
Happy thoughts we would never lament.
Slowly and slowly they twist reality.
Nothing is real anymore. Not even the hour.
Nothing in this world makes you free.
Inside, only your mind can grant you power.
