Am I to late?

Am I to late?

I knew you for six years
And through it all we only stayed friends
At times I thought of it being more
But I put that thought in the back of my head to store

I guess I didn't want anything to ruin our friendship
So I just dead-it the thought of an companionship
But now my feelings are growing and it's hard to keep them in
I want to be more then just your BEST friend

Now you have a girl and I'm feeling some type of way
But I still put on a happy face like it's all ok
Don't get me wrong happy is what I want you to be
I guess I just wish it was with me

I guess I'm to late I lost my chance
It took me to see her to really understand
Understand that you won't wait forever
But in time I hope we can be together

I not writing this poem to confuse you just to tell you how I feel
I never knew before but I can finally say my feelings are real
I dont want this to mess up the friendship that we have
So if this us all too much for you just put it in the past

I dont want to rush into being your mate
All I want to know is "Am I To Late?"

    I know how u feel, i been there too, in fact, im friends with a guy who is what i want that my babys father is not, and i just had my baby. though i still dont think its too late, cuase he dont treat me right, but anyway, i dont think its too late for u to ask him out, who knows maybe the girl hes with, maybe thier realtionship wont last. and u could ask him out then, but look, i think that u gotta make sure hes everything u want in the first place. same as i been told, before u marry someone, make sure thier ur best friend.
