Above the land

by Flying Phoenix   Oct 6, 2005

Way above land, in a place of freedom
Unbounded by rules, breaking all logic
Spontaneity unlike another
Surrounded by solitude

Thousands of ice white droplets
Sunrises beyond imagination
Millions of companions
So distant from each other
single, yet together

Storms of high intensity
Energy of life
Full of a hundred colours
Striking harshly
Onto deserted moors

Falling off the wing
Straight down below
Surrender to the hurricane
Let gravity take hold
Forget about the pain

Stopped

By the abrupt change in pressure

Calm

Swiftly drift off the shore
Into the sunset
Just as it was before

Life in the air
Is so unreal
So unbelievably free
Understanding life
What we are meant to be
