A year

It's been a year now
Since we've been apart
One long year
With some ups and so many downs
It's funny how I used to feel so much
But now I feel so little
Since I hurt you and broke both of our hearts
Since my life went into a downward spiral
Everything fell apart
In one long year
So many obstacles
That I've amazingly survived
It's always hard to believe
How cold hearted I feel
Until I recall everything
From the past year
Everything I've lived through
I know that I've got to be at least
A little cold hearted to make it
Another year in life
