Life in a Bottle

by Kelley   Oct 7, 2005

You lived your life through a bottle you let it take control of you never said I love you unless the bottle was near, then when you did you would whisper I love you quietly in my ear so no one else could hear it, then you would say do not be like me. Even in my earliest memories Dad your bottle is always near, when things got close to being good into the bottle you would go,
you say your life has been so bad and the excuses would go on and on Well today I see you have tried to end your life its the cowards way out you know, you think if your gone all will be good and as usual you are wrong. yes its true your suffering may have ended today but your family's suffering will just go on and on. why Dad does it have to be this way even through out the years you let that damn bottle rule your life. I still love you your my dad and your pain is my pain too I know life can be overwhelming at times I also feel the stress but because of your life in a bottle I learned to handle my problems without alcohol or pills. Now because of this thing you've done I am hurting so bad inside I don't know what to do, Dad if I say these things its because I love you. I want you here no matter what you have done because your my dad and I am your first born son I will give you my undying love no matter what you do I just want you to know I love you Dad and this comes from the heart of your eldest son.
