You (English Sonnet)

by Robert Gardiner   Oct 11, 2005

You!!! (English Sonnet)

Beauty, to my eyes, heaven, to my soul,
You're more grand, than anything I have known.
Simply, wondrous, splendid, incredible,
You reign, supreme, in a class of your own.
Your smile, so radiant, takes me, ev'ry time,
Playing to my soul, like a symphony.
You inspire, a feeling, so sublime.
Your presence, it's, an unmatched, ecstasy.
To you, there is nothing that can compare.
The quintessential woman you must be.
You're breath-taking, lovely, and all so fair,
There's no maiden who can compares to thee.
You just, cascade beauty, from, ev'ry pore.
My heart's waves, they beg, to rest, at your shore!!!

Beautifully written. Too bad the submission software puts those damn symbols in the middle of the poem. Great job! You are a talented writer.
