8 Letter Lie

Maybe for once,
This could have been great,
Me and you,
And not once sense of heart ache.

Stuck in my own little world,
Thinking nothing wrong would never happen,
Maybe for once,
This could be certain.

So now Im sitting here,
Crying over you,
They said its not worth it,
And I knew it too.

Stuck here,
Not being able to love anyone,
Because Im only
Broken pieces of treason.

You really did fool me,
Saying that stupid 8 letter lie,
And you actually made me
Want to go on with life and try.

And you dont even get it
How much you hurt me,
How you left these scars,
How you left me so empty.

Do you see?
That every poem I wrote,
Is about you?
And this stupid heart you took and broke.
