Hurricane Katrina

by Kari Gibson   Oct 13, 2005

It really made me mad,
I cried 'cause it was sad,
How could mother nature do such a thing?
I always thought that she had an angel wing,
My mom said no one was to blame,
And I should just be tame,
But she took away my family's home,
My favorite spots,
My grandpa's stone,
The pain was just too much to bear,
She just went on to tear, and tear,
My grandma cried hystaricly,
That stupid Hurricane,
Caused this pain,
Hurricane Katrina was a killer,
She was deffinitly not a thriller,
I wish she would have not hit,
Then there would be no shit,
But she came,
And left again,
And all thats left is the damage,
And rubble,
And loss of lives, homes, and much much more.

Dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina...
