September 11, 2001
We are so glad that day is done,
When all of those people had no choice but to die,
And all of us had to cry,
How could someone have so much hate,
That day was anything but fate,
What those terrorists did was not right,
All they wanted was a fight,
They thought to tear apart the USA,
But all they did was prove there is no way,
I don't understand why they had to kill,
Was that to them one big thrill,
Every year on this day,
People remember that there's another way,
That people live in a world of hate,
There is no choice that is their fate,
When I get really down,
I think to myself you have a great town,
There aren't soldiers on the street,
You aren't afraid of what you might meet,
September 11 2001,
Yes of course that day is done,
But the memories will always stay,
To make us remember there is another way.
