Me & You

by MidniteRain   Oct 14, 2005

I say you will never lose me,
That I will wait as long as it takes,
You say she rejected you,
Suddenly I am good enough,
Now you have no patience,
All I wanted was your happiness,
Now I see my mistake.

You say you will leave this world,
And you wish that she,
Will burn in hell,
For what you brought upon yourself.
"Do not believe everything they say,"
You think I'm stupid enough,
Not to figure it out myself.

You must be naive to think that you,
Can have your cake,
And eat it too,
I will not be leftovers.
You may want me back,
But do not assume,
That I may want you.
