I remember the first time we met
but I never thought
that it would be this hard
to let go

you gave me something
to look forward to
but now I feel so stupid
and pathetic

I lost the grasp
I had on you
your just pulling further
and further away

Being with you
now makes me cry
but I still love you
more then you could ever know

I have decided
to let you go
and stop holding onto
something that'll never be
