Growing Pains

I'm growing wiser
I'm growing stronger
I understand this world, these people
deep confusion lives no longer.
A once naive little girl
is now an enlightened young woman
I can see! I can see!
My eyes have been widened
My mind expanded
my heart opened
I'm stronger from the rain and fierce winds
that threatened to defeat me with pain that wouldn't end
I became wiser when I realized everything ain't what it seems.
From people to places, maybe even dreams
And now I see
And now I'm free
all this plus God equals a undebatable me
and though it hurt a little along the way
I wouldn't trade anything for growing pains
