Reality

Trying to leave reality,
trying to escape my pain,
pushing memories away,
and crying among the rain.

standing not a soul,
this life i didn't choose,
the more i try to live,
the more i seem to lose.

faking an everyday smile,
running from my fears,
trying to make it right,
eyes burning from my tears.

its time to face the truth,
I'm losing all my sanity,
by looking for an escape,
because I'm living in reality.
