The letter she wrote*

She sits waiting, waiting all night.
procrastinating thinking things will turn out alright.
she doesn\'t know where she is going,
but still carries on with life.
looking hopelessly, then the doctor arrives.
her suspicions were correct- the lump was cancer.
hurt, broken and deciding suicide.
she writes a note to the ones she loves
saying she\'ll save them a place above,
she reaches for the knife and slits her throat.
now all that was left was the letter she wrote.

    I enjoy reading poems so I have read many poems from many different authors and I want to tell all of the authors who work I enjoyed reading that they are great writers and the should not give up on poetry and the should keep up the good work you are one of those authors I have enjoyed reading your poems thank you for putting them out there!!!
