Hazel To Grey

by Anthony   Oct 23, 2005

Kill my confidence and look me in the eye.
The emptiness inside shining through.
Eyes so hazel now are eyes so Grey.
Devoid of feeling, barren of life.
All just because you have no heart.
A human Cerberus, devouring our souls.
Forcing us to show you love and affection.
Only to kill it with your cruel rejection.
Friendship, Love, and Compassion are gone.
Replaced with Hatred, insensitivity, and depression.
An emotional vampire of lust and envy.
Sins of your soul one with this human...
Hazel eyes unseeing... just a puppet of demonic thievery.
If this is life, I crave to die.
If this is what I have, I\'d rather nothing.
Eyes of hazel... Now Eyes of Grey,
Devoid of love, friendship, emotion...
All thanks to you,
The one I used to love...

I can't say I really like this poem,I know you can do better...

The last two lines were good, but in the beginning, it seems as though it just keep going and going and you kinda lost your point in between.
