Sudden Contentment

by Chelsea Hopkins   Oct 23, 2005

For a leaf to fall with such a grace
a single star to stay in place
For the moon to shine
on this dark earth
sudden content with the virgin birth

dreams are broken thoughts are deep
close your eyes is to be asleep
the morning sun glems in your eyes
the earth circle, who will deny

for all who seek the son of man
and all who try to make a stand
sudden contentment is all I see
the daughter of eve is who I will be.
