Upon A High Shelf

by Sierra~ICE~   Oct 24, 2005

Nights filled with rage
Only collect in my mind
Days filled with tears
Only left for me to rewind

Seems the same things always happen
Its like life is repeating itself
Fighting every night and day
Its like being left behind upon a high shelf

I\'m left to survive
With the painful thoughts of suicide
Left alone to die
As I lay myself down and cry

Should I try to hold on
To whats not even there?
Or should I try and stay strong
Despite wether or not they care?

Am I going to be able to go on
Living life like this
I only wanted to know how it felt to be loved
Is there something I have left behind and missed

I try to scream my heart out
Hoping that one day you\'ll hear
Hear a brokendown child
Upon the high shelf left to only fear

Fear wether or not she\'ll live
For another dying day
Only time can tell
Wether this is the way

Day turns to night
More tears have been shed
Something red drips from the shelf
Onto your neatly made bed

You look upon the shelf
To your surprise you see
Your so called \"little girl\"
Has finally set herself free.
