Its been forever since i seen you
but your always by my side
I didn't want to say goodbye
you were my heart and my soul

Loving you came natural
like taking my next breath
i didn't want to say goodbye
you were my everything my world

Time has stood still for me
the days have slipped away
I didn't want to say goodbye
you were my lover and my friend

people keep telling me
that time will ease my pain
I didn't want to say goodbye
you were my sunshine and my rain

the years have passed
and the pain is still so real
but now its time to say goodbye
its time for me to heal

my love I know your watching me
