writing these has been a way of letting go of some of my pain from my past.
I lost my soul mate to a slow death by cancer 15 years ago and have been lost every day since then
was in an abusive marriage to a man who nearly killed me many times.
I am a recovering addict clean now for 10 years and some of my poems reflect the times when i was using
and some are about a man Im seeing and realy feeling at the present I know I love him but fear telling him because things will become different and Im not ready for that at this time
hes from a whole different world than i am.. and sometimes i dont feel deserving of a man like him.
be it good and bad...these are my real feelings and emotions.
as for some of the poems yes i am and have been a cutter for many years.. some people do this for pleasure and some because it is the only way to release inner pain is to inflict outer pain.
