A lovers tiff

The stress had been mounting for weeks
And it had all got on top
And finally she’d had enough
As her tears began to drop

I saw her crying in her hands
And I knew she needed to be held
But when I put my arms around her
She pushed me away and yelled

“Don’t you touch me you b*st*rd
Your love is a pack of lies
You don’t care f**k all for me
I can see it in your eyes”

In total shock I replied
“What the hell are you talking about
I love you more than life”
But she just continued to shout

I wasn't getting through to her
And so I decided I should leave
Come back a little later
After we’d both had a chance to breath

I left to clear my head
And soon returned to that place
But I was welcomed by a nightmare
As pure shock hit my face

She laid in a pool of blood
Her skin was cold and blue
I sat in the corner stunned
Not knowing what else to do
